Covid Prevention Services

The COVID-19 outbreak and the aftermath has resulted in serious fallout in many areas of the world. Transmission and prognosis, once infected, are potentially influenced by many factors, including indoor air pollution.

Clean air is a basic requirement of life. The quality of air inside offices, schools, public buildings, or other private dwellings where people spend a large part of their life is an essential determinant of healthy life and people’s well-being.

Promptus Ltd offers air purifying and surface sterilising solutions for the workplace, schools and hospitals.

We bring clean, healthy air to your building ensuring those inside are protected from air born risks.

Our product lines are exclusively designed and proven to kill air born viruses, such as COVID-19 in the air and on surfaces and fabrics.

COVID-19 has seen the rise of population-level screening, thankfully Promptus Ltd are able to support this.

Our Remote monitoring has specific operational and design features that are well suited for the monitoring of COVID-19.

Monitoring can be used to gather real-time recording of temperature data on a consistent basis.

At Promptus Ltd we have multiple camera options available, from fixed cameras to small handheld devices that can be mounted on walls or tripods and easily moved to different locations.

Our tech can also be seamlessly integrated into almost any existing infrastructure, such as access control doors, to give just one of many examples.

By capturing real-time body temperatures, our cameras can alert to any anomalies in body temperature, protecting employees and any persons visiting site.

RemoTech - Air Quality

We provide multiple services that allow us to remotely monitor as well as optimize the quality and cleanliness of the air within your workplace. We can help future proof your workplace by monitoring metrics regarding your air quality and consumption, in order to allow you to not only improve your buildings sustainability, but also helping you to reduce your overheads significantly at the same time!

Our air quality devices protect you from COVID-19 and other air borne diseases. If left untreated, your indoor environment can easily cause the survival of airborne viruses, in turn increasing the likelihood of spread.

There are 2 versions of Remo-Tech™ Covid prevention systems. The first one is an air purifier designed to kill the viruses that cause COVID-19. The air passes through a medical-grade HEPA 14 filter, trapping any larger contaminants, and then through a high intensity UVC chamber, capable of delivering a dose of over 273.44 J/M3 - enough to neutralise even the most resilient coronaviruses studied.

Ultraviolet germicidal lights are 99% proven to reduce the concentrations of airborne bacterial and fungal spores in the indoor environment. Designed by onsite research and development team, the Remo-Tech™ purifier is a patented, state of the art product for any indoor environment.

Second generation Remo-Tech™ air purifier and sterilizer has additionally a powerful ozone generator, which can be set to activate when a room is unoccupied, filling the environment with ozone gas. When the ozone comes in to contact with items and surfaces, it eradicates viruses and bacteria, sterilising everything it touches.

Real-time and historic data on airflow, air quality, and ozone sterilisation can also be viewed via Vigilate™ cloud-based dashboard on request.

Check out our RemoTech Technology in Action!

Our products have been tested and proven effective against Covid-19

Our Technology has been tested by CDC approved laboratories in the United States for their effectiveness against removing and neutralising airborne (aerosolised) Covid-19 from the air.  In multiple trials, our technology proved a 89% neutralisation rate of Covid-19 under test conditions within 15 minutes of operation.

Trials were undertaken by introducing airborne (aerosolised) Covid-19 in to a sealed test environment.  After a number of control tests (without our technology) and full tests (with our technology), airborne Covid-19 was found to be reduced from 27% of average control test degradation to 89% with our Remo-Tech™ Technology in place, within 15 minutes.

The Testing Enviroment

Testing Enviroment

The testing chamber was a 20’x8’x8’, sealed chamber consisting of metal walls and epoxy floor equipped with 4 sealed viewing windows and a lockable chamber door for entry and exit complying with BSL-3 standards.

The chamber was designed to maintain a negative pressure environment and to be completely sealed from the outside to prevent any release of testing media into the atmosphere. A monitoring system was set in place to confirm no loss of pressure occurred during testing.

During testing, the ambient temperature was 72°F with a relative humidity of 35%. The testing chamber had HEPA filtered inlets and exhaust, coupled with an active UV-C system in all ducting lines. Humidity and temperature were monitored inside the chamber using a calibrated wireless device.

Table of Results

Test Report

Studies by Boston University undertaken in 2020 have shown that Covid-19 is highly susceptible to UV-C light.  Japanese scientists have been conducting studies on the effects of ozone in neutralising Covid-19 on surfaces and have shown it to be highly effective with a 90% sterilisation rate.  This information, published by research.net shows the results and effective dosages of UV-C light required to inactivate various strains of coronavirus.

The table on the left summarises the results of studies that have been performed on Coronaviruses under ultraviolet light exposure, with the specific species indicated in each case. The D90 value indicates the ultraviolet dose for 90% inactivation.

Although there is a wide range of variation in the D90 values, this is typical of laboratory studies on ultraviolet susceptibility. The range of D90 values for coronaviruses is 7-241 J/m2 the mean of which is 67 J/m2, should adequately represent the ultraviolet susceptibility of the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) virus.
