Frequently asked questions

IS REMOTE MONITORING AS EFFECTIVE AS ON-SITE MONITORING?

Yes, and even more effective. It allows the service team to remotely analyse the issue, based on the system’s data and performance, and decide whether they need to pay an on-site visit, or they can configure the issue remotely. Having analysed the issue remotely, they already know what to expect and how to react.

Eventually, Remote Monitoring saves travel time by reducing site visits, and allowing the technical team to optimise their operation by sending the right skilled personnel to site, based on the early remote analysis of the case.

IS REMOTE MONITORING A MORE EXPENSIVE SOLUTION? WILL IT PRODUCE A WORTHWHILE ROI?

There are many aspects that need to be considered, such as system lifespan, cost of fix, and number of visits made by technicians. These may vary between each site and each client.

However, our experience shows that despite different clients' varying preferences, they all end up with a significant positive ROI in less than 2 years. Furthermore, they have added peace of mind knowing that their systems are being monitored by a skilled professional, who can quickly react to any anomaly or system error.

WILL REMO-TECH HARDWIRE AFFECT MY EXISTING BMS SYSTEM OR INTERNET INFRASTRUCTURE?

No, we are proud to say our Remo-Tech devices works out of the box making installation and connection to internet through own data network removing the need to connect or disturb workplace.

WILL MY DATA BE SECURE WITH REMOTE SERVICE? ARE THERE ANY SECURITY RISKS?

All the data is encrypted – from the point it leaves the hardwire system, and all the way up to the cloud and to the end user’s application. We use IBM standards approved cloud to assure data protection and privacy.
