As part of our journey to improve the sustainability of both the business and the products we supply, Promptus Ltd have joined the Made in Britain Green Growth programme.
The UK government has mandated that every UK business must reach net-zero by 2050 or before.
This is in response to climate science showing that in order to halt climate change, carbon emissions have to stop – reducing them is not sufficient. ‘Net zero’ means that any emissions are balanced by absorbing an equivalent amount from the atmosphere.
Promptus Ltd began looking more into sustainability back in 2018, however, during the pandemic we really invested time and money into researching the eco needs of the products we make.
As a Made in Britain member, we felt their Green Growth programme supported our endeavour and would provide us with valuable resources to help us achieve our aim of leading the way to a sustainable future.
